The CUE1 is a non-invasive, wearable, medical device for people with Parkinson’s, to improve movement and quality of life.
The CUE1 utilises pulsed cueing and high-frequency focused vibrotactile stimulation to alleviate symptoms including slowness, stiffness, rigidity, freezing of gait, and more. This results in improved quality of life for you.
Developed by a team of designers, engineers, and clinicians, the CUE1 offers a novel, non-invasive approach to improving quality of life for people with Parkinson’s, with the simple push of a button.
With over 3,000 people using CUE1 day to day, pilot tests have seen users with Parkinson’s improve their MDS-UPDRS scores by an average of 7.8 points, which is considered clinically significant.
Utilising non-invasive, focused vibrotactile stimulation and cueing to improve movement.
A wearable, discreet and adjustable medication reminder and recording system.
Track symptoms, progression and quality-of-life measures with the CUE app.
Users of the CUE1 report feeling that they can better control their movements whilst using the device, with motion becoming smoother, easier, and faster.
The CUE1 functions by delivering gentle vibratory stimulus to the peripheral nervous system, which is thought to modulate the sensory processing system, thereby easing the typical stiffness and slowness symptoms associated with Parkinson’s.
The CUE1 is about the size and weight of a small pebble and can be worn discreetly under garments or shown off as an accessory, making it easy to adapt to your preference.
The CUE1 also helps you take medication at the right time each day with a gentle, discreet and identifiable vibration. Managing symptoms and receiving the full benefits from treatment has never been easier.

You can customise the stimulation settings of your CUE1 to deliver the best results possible, as everybody’s Parkinson’s is different.
The app allows you to set discreet medication reminders through the CUE1, in the form of a quiet and discreet vibration.
Easily and simply track mood, movement and other symptoms throughout the day and over time to help manage them.
Charco Neurotech was founded by a team of designers, engineers, and clinicians with one ambition: to bring back smiles for people with Parkinson’s.
What started out as a university research project became bigger and more important. As we became more involved with the Parkinson’s community, and the colourful and welcoming characters we met along the way, we grew to be more motivated to improve quality of life for the community around us.
