Dear All,

I am immensely proud of the team at Charco and honoured to be leading our efforts to bring back smiles to people with Parkinson’s.

The past year has seen a lot of changes at Charco, and the team continues to step up and deliver with enthusiasm, professionalism, and passion for our mission at every opportunity. It would be difficult to find a team more dedicated to supporting people with Parkinson’s. Thanks to their hard work, we end 2024 in a strong position, well-placed to make CUE1+ available to PwP on a much larger scale as we move into the next phase of Charco’s journey.

I am excited to support Charco as we move forward with the next step, bringing us much closer to realising our vision, by making this incredible technology available to many, many more people with Parkinson’s. It will be incredibly rewarding to see more people realise the benefits that our amazing community of current CUE device users do.

In 2024 we launched CUE1+ as a successor to CUE1. We have worked hard to optimise production to ensure that device reliability is significantly improved, and to increase production in order to fulfil the waiting list, making the device available directly.

We were honoured and delighted to see CUE1+ placed in Parkinson’s UK Tech Guide. A new platform designed to help people with Parkinson’s discover tech that could improve their quality of life, and give them the context and assurance to choose the right solutions for them.

We were proud to support Parkinson’s UK’s Walk for Parkinson’s series through the summer, a collaboration that we value immensely. Thank you to all those who came by to see us, it truly was a pleasure to meet so many of you in person.

2024 also saw us deliver further compelling evidence from our clinical collaboration with Queen Mary University of London. This strongly endorses the feedback from our community and underpins our engagement with the NHS and other healthcare practitioners. We will work hard to continue our engagement with the NHS into 2025.

The coming year will also see us commencing long-awaited clinical studies in the USA. Trial planning is very much underway, and we look forward to providing our US community with further updates in the New Year.

None of this would be possible without our phenomenal community whose incredible support and valued feedback is so appreciated. Please be assured that you remain at the very heart of everything that we do here, and we look forward to bringing back many more smiles in 2025.
