About this role
- This job will be centred around supporting the Parkinson’s community through using our technology. This will entail answering phone and video calls and providing a comprehensive system of support to our users.
- You will be spending your time talking to our users, primarily dealing with enquiries regarding the CUE1 device, though you may also have to deal with enquiries regarding the company itself
- You will further be expected to answer emails and social media comments dealing with enquiries and issues surrounding both the CUE1 and Charco Neurotech’s events.
- You will be building a strong relationship with our community, fostering a sense of community spirit and helping to strengthen the ties between Charco and those with Parkinson’s.
- You will help to organise and host an array of community events and talks as a part of fostering good ties between Charco and those with Parkinson’s.
- You will help to arrange deliveries and fulfil orders from our users, ensuring that things are sent off in good time and without any undue issues.
- Your average work day will be busy, filled with calls with customers as well as various calls with Charco team members. We value individuals who are flexible and willing to collaborate on new tasks; sometimes this will be required as we are still a relatively small company.
Required skills
- Previous customer-facing experience is essential, as you will need strong working knowledge of how to adapt your approach to each customer’s various different needs.
- Time-management skills are key to this role, as you will need to be able to fit other tasks around your calls with customers.

- The ability to adapt and learn new skills in good time.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- A strong commitment to Charco’s company values – we are a team united by our strong work ethic and drive to help each other and people living with Parkinson’s.
